SDE Optimizing Conditions

ASDE surveys all SDE communities/programs about how they provide, enhance, or align with each of the Six Optimizing Conditions for young people to succeed in SDE.  Survey answers:
  1. Responsibility – The children are fully responsible for what, how and when they learn, with our support when asked.
  2. Youth Autonomy – A child is free to choose what to do every moment of the day. Unlimited time to play, explore, talk, and free to change his mind with no adult manipulations.
  3. Access to Tools and Technology – Open spaces with tools ; Music, arts and craft, sport, natural building, gardening, coocking ,old trees and nature itself :)
  4. Adult Allies – Staff members, parents and others from the community who feel passionate to support the kids curiosity and projects, in an authentic equal and honest relationships with each other.
  5. Free Age Mixing – 3-18 no groups by age
  6. Community – We are in a process of having all of us into one collective decision making.
