Coming soon to a location near you...

Today we are introducing an exciting new initiative to help our members form local SDE groups!

We see this as a rich opportunity to build real-life SDE communities and engage together in multiple ways, providing a platform for participants to meet and support one another in their SDE pursuits, and to advocate Self-Directed Education within the local community.

We’re looking for people who are interested in becoming organizers and contacts for SDE groups in their localities. This would entail bringing together people who are interested in being part of an SDE community, planning meetings, and communicating with the Alliance’s local SDE group coordinator. If this interests you, please contact Bria Bloom, our Community Manager, at bria@self-directed.org

If you’re already involved in a local community that supports SDE, and your group wants to participate in the Alliance’s local SDE group initiative, Bria would like to hear from you, too.

To learn more about local SDE groups, and connect with others who are interested, visit our new forum dedicated to this subject.

We look forward to hearing from you!
